ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to join our team in New York, NY. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and construction of heavy civil engineering projects from start to finish. The Project Engineer will work closely with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities for this role include collaborating with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to develop project plans and schedules, conducting site investigations and providing technical input on engineering designs and construction plans, managing project documentation, monitoring construction progress and ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and contract requirements, overseeing construction activities, conducting quality control inspections to ensure that work is being performed to the required standards, identifying potential project risks, developing mitigation plans to ensure project success, and preparing project status reports and communicating project updates to stakeholders as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil engineering construction projects. They should have strong project management skills and be proficient in project management software, such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar. Knowledge of industry best practices and construction standards is also required.

You will be rewarded with a good salary of $110,000 – $140,000 + benefits packages to its employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plans.
